Founded in 2018 at the University of Arizona, the Women in Economics Club (WEC), is a student-led organization that aims to further diversify economics and business at the University of Arizona and in the professional world beyond college.

We strive to represent historically underrepresented groups in the field of economics, support student success and professional development, and encourage community-building.

We provide students with a unique opportunity to foster relationships with peer and mentors, industry professionals, and the greater Tucson area.
Our members connect with other ambitious students, gain perspective and insight from a variety of guest speakers, and give back to the local community through philanthropic efforts.
